This post reminded me of the story of Warren Buffet's pilot. Apparently, he asked Buffet for advice and was told to make a list of his top 25 goals in life.

Then, he was told to circle the top 5 goals. The pilot thought he was supposed to focus on those, and then get to the other 20 goals later.

Instead, Buffet told him that those other items are the "avoid at all cost" goals because they were the ones that would easily distract him from working on the ones that actually matter.

I think the other 9 on my list are all distractions from the top 1, so I'm excited to see what happens when I focus on those and avoid the others. :)

Thanks for sharing this. Great advice to keep me focused on my 2025 goals.

After I saw the image from the newsletter a few weeks ago about the energy ball with arrows going in all directions I can not unsee it! 🤦‍♂️ Some focus is what I need this year for sure, excited to see where I can get to by December 😊

So nifty to have it appear in your inbox every 2 weeks!

Love this version of that exercise! It feels more authentic and grounded and the follow ups might work better with me than just picturing myself celebrating at the end of the year. Thanks for sharing! I guess now I know what to send in my inbox every 2 weeks. Lol.
